Clearmac® cold-applied paving
Clearmac® hot-applied paving
Clearmac®, the unique aggregate encapsulated resin bound system, offers the opportunity to determine the final appearance of paving.
Clearmac® users are no longer restricted to the traditional macadam colours of black or red. The attractive and natural aggregate colours incorporated in Clearmac®, ranging from sandy hues through deep russets to greys and greens, permeate through its clear resin binder to produce the perfect complementary affect to adjacent architectural features, historic, contemporary or heritage sites, or the surrounding environment.
Clearmac® is designed to provide durability and performance. The naturally coloured paving is the ultimate decorative surfacing for all pedestrian areas such as footpaths, parks, shopping precincts and driveways.
The system has been specified for many high profile locations throughout the UK including the Royal Parks, the Natural History Museum, the London Eye and the Mall as well as railway station forecourts. In addition, it has been used to enhance prestigious office developments, public buildings, supermarkets and other retail units, quality housing projects, private estates and individual homes.
Clearmac® cold-applied paving
Based upon BS4987, the British Standard specification for coated macadam, the bitumen is replaced with a clear binder.
The paving is hand applied and designed to provide durability and high performance on surfaces subject to point loading, such as driveways, mews and parking areas.
The cured material gives a textured and durable finish able to resist degradation caused by weathering and UV radiation, oil, fuel and some commonly used solvents.
