A helping hand

A donation of £500 by Ayton Products helped the Wymondham Community Partnership achieve its objective of raising £28,000 for a local project.

The Wymondham Community Partnership, an informal business forum, commissioned a commemorative bronze model to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the founding of Wymondham Abbey. The majority of the funding came from the East of England Development Agency, with the remainder coming from local fund raising.

"As we are a major employer in the town with some 70 people on site at Wymondham, we were keen to renew and enhance links with the local community," explains Tony Hipperson, Ayton's General Manager.

The Bronze was unveiled at a ceremony at on Saturday 6 October.
