School nominates Michelle

Michelle Wones has been short listed for an award for her work with a local school.

Following her nomination by the Hewett School in Norwich, Michelle has been short listed for the Vocational Champion Award, which is presented as part of the Work with Schools Awards.

In the nomination, the Hewett School said: "Michelle has shown a commitment to the students. She has insisted on a high standard of quality and encouraged the students at all times, particularly when they may have felt daunted by the tasks.

"Michelle's involvement has lead to a relationship of mutual respect between business and education."

The 2007 Work with Schools Awards will be presented on 28 June at a ceremony in Newmarket.
