'InteGREAT' scheme reaping the eye-catching rewards of Clearmac®

A further 290 tonnes of Hot Applied Clearmac®, the UK's premier encapsulated resin bound paving system, are to be supplied for the third phase of the extensive 'InteGREAT' renovation scheme currently underway at Great Yarmouth, in Norfolk.

The delivery increases the total volume of Clearmac® supplied over the project's three phases (two years) to approximately 730 tonnes. Put another way, once the third phase is complete, an incredible 15,000 square metres of surfacing on Marine Parade and in the St. Georges Park area of the town will have received the resin bound paving that naturally enhances the surrounding environment.

Clearmac® is a stunning and practical finish for creating beautifully paved pathways, precincts, driveways, parking and pedestrianised areas.

Its clear resin allows the natural colour of the selected aggregate to permeate through, producing beautiful, fully bound, paved areas. The resin and encapsulated aggregate creates a highly durable, low maintenance surface with no loose stone. It is applied by hand or machine and designed to provide high performance on surfaces subject to point loading. The cured finish gives a textured finish able to resist degradation caused by weathering and UV radiation, oil, fuel and some commonly used solvents.

The choice of Clearmac® for the Great Yarmouth project represents a classic deployment for this attractive paving, which has been specified and laid at many high profile locations including London's Natural History Museum, the Royal Parks, BA London Eye, Kew Gardens, Lords cricket ground and Hyde Park Lido.

Clearmac® installation is carried out throughout the UK and Eire by Ayton Product's network of licensed contractors. The paving is just one of a number of specialist surfacing products manufactured by the company, which includes Stonebond® resin bonded surface dressing, Ayton Playsafe® safety surfacing, Colourchip® resin coated chippings and Tripave® rapid cure and waterproof decorative surfacing.
