Ann MacIsaac, left, presents the paper to her daughter Dawn.
Ayton Products re-cycles at local school
Ayton Products, May Gurney’s product manufacturing and supply business, recently helped children at a local school by donating their obsolete letter headed paper.
The paper, which was surplus to requirements as the corporate logos had changed, will be put to good use by the children for drawing, sketching and in artwork.
Ann MacIsaac, Senior Administrator, came up with the idea when her daughter Dawn, who is a teacher and early years coordinator at East Harling Primary School, mentioned that they were short of suitable paper for the children to use.
Dawn said: “When I mentioned to my mum that we were short of paper, I did not expect Ayton Products to support us in such a fantastic way. This also teaches the children how important it is to re-cycle unwanted materials.”
Ann, who amongst her many tasks at Ayton Products looks after stationary, was pleased to be able to help the school and make much needed space in the store cupboard!
Tony Hipperson, General Manager of Ayton Products added: ‘I was delighted to support a worthy cause in our local community and to approve Ann’s request for us to donate our unwanted paper which will be put to such a good use.’
